Glowpaws Training

[Brightstar]

Brightstar leapt up out of the camp and gazed down over the moors. Today was the first day of Glowpaws training. Brightstar wanted to get as much done as possible today. She sat down and began washing herself in the warm light of the dawn.

I quickly made my way out of camp and over to where Brightstar sat waiting. I could hardly wait to see what I would be learning today. "Hi Brightstar. What are we going to do today?" I asked curiously.

[Brightstar]

(if you want to be medicine cat speak now or forever hold your peace! ;D actually you can tell me any time you want. A medicine cat needs to have some warrior training anyway...i think never mind ;D)

Brightstar smiled down at her apprentice. " Well, today i'm going to show you the territory" She replied, standing up and flicking her tail in greeting, " and if you're not too tired, we could try some hunting practice later"
Glowpaw seems like a great apprentice Brightstar thought, as she took a few steps towards the moorlands in front of her.
She turned and signalled to Glowpaw. " Come on, lets go".
Brightstar turned and leaped into the wind, sprinting foward towards the shadowclan border.

I quickly followed. I was glad to be looking at the territoy. I had always wondered what it looked like. So far, I really like it. It was very pretty. I started strugaling to keep up with Brightstar. I was not used to running this far.

(Do you mean to say it in character form?)

[Brightstar]

(well, i could ask you if you want, or you could mention it. But ya in carecter form. Otherwise it would be as if you mind telaported it to me ;Dthat would be kindsa cool ;D)

Brightstar slowed down her pace until she was trotting beside Glowpaw, "We are nearing the Shadowclan boreder now" She meowed cautiously " so keep your eyes open and your senses alert".
They came to the Shadowclan boreder a few moments after that. A small not very active Thunderpath was the border. A monster zoomed past Brightstar and she flinched. she turned towards her apprentice.
"Take a good deep sniff" She told Glowpaw, looking over to the shadowclan territory " What can you smell?"

I took a deep sniff and wrinckled my nose in disgust. "Well, I smell the thunderpath. But I also smell a mouse over in the bushes over there and I also smell...Hmm, I think that is borage leaves." I said in a curious voice.

[Brightstar]

Borage leaves? Brightstar thought. She sniffed the air again and realised that there was indeed a great scent of borage leaves in the wind.
She turned and looked at the apprentice. "How come you know what borage leves smell like?" She asked. Brightstar had been hoping that Glowpaw would smell the Shadowclan scent but this was far more intresting.
Maybe this aprentice would like to be a medicine cat instead of a warrior...

[glowfur]

(I am using my mom's computer right now, so I will not be able to get on a lot.)

I gave a small shrug. "I don't know. I just had a feeling that that was what it was. I wonder how I knew. Hmm." I gave another shrug and then turned back to Brightstar and waited to see what she would show me next.

[Brightstar]

(thats ok .
Brightstar shrugged it off. lucky guess she thought dismissavly (sp?). " You didnt notice the Shadowclan scent" Brightstar pointed out, " You should start getting to know it so that when someone has been on our territory you can freport it to me" Brightstars eyes flashed " Then we will attack them" She looked down, calmly again at the apprentice and decided to move on.
Brightstar began to trot fowards towards Fourtrees. " We shall have a look at fourtrees now and then move on to the riverclan border" The windclan leader meowed over her shoulder, " Come on!" Brightstar whipped her head around and began running over the moors again.

I carefully hid my distress at the thought of attacking another cat. I took one last sniff and then raced after Brightstar. I wondered what fourtrees would look like. I felt excited at the prospect of see where the cats went for the gathering at full moon. I wondered if we would see any other cats by fourtrees, as long as they stayed on there border of course.

[Brightstar]

Brightstar soon arrived at fourtrees. She slowed down her pace and turned to face her apprentice.
"Well this is it" The four great trees loomed over head and the short grass on the ground ruffled in the wind. This place was truly a great place to be. A perfect place for gatherings.
Suddenly Brightstar caught the scent of Lavender in the breeze. The windclan leader opened her eyes and glanced curiously at glowpaw wonmdering if she would pick up and know the scent...

[glowfur]

I sniffed the air. "Is that Lavender that I smell." I asked curiously. It smelled so nice. I hoped that I got it right. As I waited for Brightstar to reply, I looked around at fourtrees. The trees were very tall, and I could also smell the faint scent of many cats that had come to the last gathering. I wondered when I would be able to go to a gathering. It would be so fun.

[Brightstar]

"yup. Thats lavender" Brightstar meowed, as she moved towards the end of the clearing. " Over there is Thunderclans terriotroy" She pointed out to Glowpaw. "This is the only place you'll get to smell their scent, as we have no borders with them".
Brightstar turned back towards their side of the fourtrees. "We'll now go to see the riverclan border"
As she sprang off running, Brightstar wondered if Glowpaw was better suited as a medicine cat then a normal warior...

[Glowpaw]

I quickly turned and raced after Brightstar as she headed for the Riverclan border. I was very excited. I had guessed the herb right. I wondered if there were any other herbs by the Riverclan border. I shrugged. Guess I would find out when we got there.

[Brightstar]

Brightstar stopped along the gorge which seperated Riverclan from Windclan. " WE have to be very careful here" She called over to Glowpaw, " any wrong step and you'll be down there" She peered over the edge of the gorge into the rushing water and cast glowpaw a strict glance. She had that dont you go rushing along here all you'll fall and kill yourself look.

"This is the Riverclan border" Brightstar explained as she stalked along the edge of the border. She sniffed the air. She could smell Riverclan, mouse(stale) and a herb. BUt she didnt know it. Brightstar sniffed the air again but her eyes wandered over to Glowpaw. She coudnt know what it was could she?
