Mistpaws eyes widened with surprise. Then they returned to normal and he grinned. "Thats great" He meowed coming over to give her a playful push. Deep inside he felt bad that Glowpaw woudnt grow up being a warrior alongside im, but he was really proud that she was going to be a medicine cat. He licked her ear happily. "Nothings changed though, right?" He meowed. They could still play and have fun and train even if they were training for diferent things.

I gave his ear a playful flick and then turened and headed for the camp entrance. "Of course nothing has changed. I'm still the same as before, I'll just be learning different things then you will. Now come on. I want to go and get something to eat. I'm starving, how about you?" I asked him as I headed towards the fresh-kill pile.

Mistpaw rolled his eyes. "I could eat a hawk" He groaned as he raced ahead of Glowpaw to the Freshkill pile. As he got there he realised there was only a single peice of prey. A small mouse. Mistpaw groaned and turned to Glowpaw. " share?" he meowed flcking his tail towards the single mouse. " We can go hunting later"

"I have a better idea" Brightstar meowed cheerfully padding over."How about i take this" Brightstar stooped and picked up the mouse " and you guys can go hunting now"
Brightstar looked at the apprentices dismayed faces. "Its not that bad. And you'll find that hunger helps with hunting. You must learn to be hungry as apprentice" Brightstar looked at Glowpaw. " lets see if you can catch that rabbit now" she grinned.

I grinned back at her. "Ok. Come on Mistpaw. I bet I can catch something before you." I said in a tanting voice as I raced out of camp. As I came upon some heather bushes, i caught the scent of a rabbit. Pauseing for a heart beat. I leaped after the rabbit. The rabbit quickly took off and headed for a burrow. But before it could get there I pounced on it and gave it a swift bit to the neck, killing it.

Mistpaw groaned but shut up quickly at Brightstars warning look( sorry if i'm godmoding) and ran after Glowpaw.
He burst through the bushes to see Glowpaw standing over a rabbit. "Woah!" Mistpaw's jaws dropped open in surprise, " You caught that now?!?!"
The young cat frowned and looked michievously at his sister. He turneed and ran through the bushes. He slowed down and pricked his ears up the way rainflower had taught him. He suddenly saw a bird pecking at something on the ground. A moment later Mistpaw pounced and caught the bird between his paws. He bit down into its feathery neck and waited as the bird slowly stopped strugling. Mistpaw picked up his prey and ran back to Glowpaw.
"Now we're even" He mewed spitting feathers out of his mouth.

I gave a merrow of laughter. "I bet I will be able to get back to camp first." I said in a mock serious voice. I gave Mistpaw a playfull shove, before picking up my rabbit, and raceing off towards camp.

Mistkit groaned again. "She always wants to race" He muttered with a grin and looked in amusement after her before he too picked up his prey and began speeding back to camp.

I looked behind me and gave a small squeek of suprise when I saw how close behind me Mistpaw was. I turned my attention back to watching where I was going, but I was to late to see the small rabbit hole directly in front of me. I stepped right in it and promptly landed on my side with a sharp pain in my paw.

Mistpaw gave a yelp of shock and dropped his Bird as he ran to Glowpaws side. "Glowpaw!Glowpaw! Are you okay? Wat hapned?" He didnt need an explination for that as he imedeatly saw Glowpaws foot and the rabbit hole. "Im goung to get Brightstar!" He yelped giving Glowpaw a quick lick on her ear. "It'll be okay" He mewed hurridly. Then he turned and raced for camp.
Mistpaw enetered camp. "BRIGHTSTAR!" He roared, "Were are you. Glowpaw is hurt!"

I waited quietly for MIstpaw and Brightstar. My paw hurt really badly. I hoped that they would hurry. I lay my head on my paws and fell into a restless sleep.

Brightstar lay sleeping in her den dreaming of hunting. Her ears picked up as words began drifting into her dreams.Brightstar! where are you? Brightstar kept sleeping. Quickpaw is hurt!
Brightstars eyes snapped open and she leaped to her feet and ran into the clearing.
She saw Mistpaw wondering around in the clearing. "Where is she?" Brightstar yowled at him running to the entrance,"Lead the way!"

Mistpaw ran without questions to the camp entrance and raced up the path. He didnt stop running, or even look behind him until he was back by Glowpaws side. "Brightstars coming" He mewed briefly, licking Glowpaws ear gently, "Do you know whats wrong?
Surely as a meddcine cat apprentice Glowpaw would have some idea of what had happned...

I woke up in time to hear Mistpaws question. "I...I think my leg is dislocated." I said in a faint voice filled with pain. I looked up at Mistpaw, and nudged him gently with my nose. "Don't look so worried. I'll be fine, you'll see." I said quietly, but confidentally.
